Program DESCRIPTION
- Jio WhatsApp Cricket Bonanza is a limited period loyalty program offered on the basis of terms and conditions herein-below contained (“Program”) and conducted by Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited having its registered office at 9th Floor, Maker Chambers IV, 222, Nariman Point, Mumbai MH 400021 IN. (“RJIL”).
DEFINITIONS
For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, the expressions used as shown herein-under shall have the meaning ascribed to them as shown herein-below:
- “Company” means RJIL and/or such of its affiliates, associates, representatives or service providers as may be nominated by RJIL from time to time;
- “Customer” means a person who (i) is above 18 (eighteen) years of age; (ii) is an active subscriber of the RJIL prepaid services; (iii) is a citizen of India and is not residing in the state of Tamil Nadu; (iv) shall not be of an unsound mind; (v) shall not be under any legal disability e.g. insolvency, restraint by court orders etc. and / or is prohibited from entering any contractual relationship; (vi) shall not have been subject of any criminal proceeding; and (vii) has visited the Store and provided the Store ID while making the Recharge;
- “Eligible Store Manager” shall mean the Company’s representatives who is a manager of the Store and responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Store and whose Store has assisted the Customers to make a valid Recharge. The Eligible Store Manager shall be entitled to participate in the Program only if the Store has ensured a minimum of 15 (fifteen) valid Recharges by Customers in a monthusing the QR Code provided in the Stores and such Customer has successfully entered a valid Store ID;
- “Jio Cricket Prepaid Plans” shall mean any plans of the Company available at www.jio.com and subscribed by the Customer;
- “QR Code” shall mean the barcode at the Store directing the Customer to WhatsApp;
- “Recharge” shall mean a valid recharge done after scanning the QR Code (a) of any prepaid plans of INR 299 (two hundred and ninety nine) and above or (b) opting for Jio Cricket Prepaid Plans;
- “Rewards” shall mean any specified rewards made available by the Company at its sole discretion to Winners, and which may be based on loyalty criteria determined by the Company including the Recharge performed.
- “Store” shall mean and include Jio Stores, Jio Point Stores, Reliance Digital Store and/or any other stores determined and notified by the Company from time to time;
- “Terms and Conditions” means these terms and conditions governing the Program, as stated herein in entirety and as may be amended by the Company from time to time;
- “WhatsApp” means the application through which a Customer makes a Recharge and the method of communication used by the Company post scanning the QR Code;
- “Winner” shall have the meaning as ascribed to it under the Terms and Conditions.
VALIDITY
- The Program shall be valid from 8th April 2023 until 31st May 2023 or as decided by the Company at its sole discretion.
PARTICIPATION
- An Eligible Store Manager, who within a month, during the subsistence of the Program, ensures a minimum of 15 (fifteen) valid Recharges by the Customers after scanning the QR Code, shall be entitled to participate in the Program and avail the Rewards (“Criteria”).
PROCEDURE TO AVAIL REWARDS
Rewards Eligibility
- The mobile number for which the Recharge by the Customer is made will be used to identify and calculate the Recharges made after scanning the QR Code.
- The Eligible Store Manager who fulfils the Criteria, shall be eligible to participate in the Program and may be accorded a pass or invite to so participate.
- The Eligible Store Manager may choose to participate in the Program to be conducted in the manner as the Company may determine from time to time.
- To avail Rewards, an Eligible Store Manager must ensure the valid Recharge by the Customer is made after visiting the Store and scanning the QR Code or by any other method as determined and notified by the Company from time to time.
- The Company shall have the absolute right, at all times, to determine the successful participation of an Eligible Store Manager under the Program for successful Recharge and make available, at the Company’s sole discretion, the Reward, which are limited in number, and to those amongst the successful participants, as determined through use of randomiser or similar such automated process, not involving human intervention in the process of selection (“Winner”). For avoidance of doubt, every Winner can only avail Reward once under the Program.
- The Company shall notify the Winner via a SMS.
- The Company may, in accordance with the laws prevailing in certain Indian states, from time to time, bar individuals residing in such states from availing the Rewards. As a matter of precaution, the Company will deem all participation by Eligible Store Manager residing in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu to be ineligible for the purposes of availing Rewards under the Program. In the event, an Eligible Store Manager’s details captured indicates that he/she is residing in Tamil Nadu, then such Eligible Store Manager will not be allowed to avail the Reward under the Program.
- The procedure for availing the Rewards under the Program is subject to the Terms and Conditions stated herein. Non-conformance by any Eligible Store Manager(s) to the Terms and Conditions will disqualify him/her from availing the Rewards and/or Benefits, immediately, as the case may be.
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- Since the Rewards under this Program are offered as a loyalty program and pursuant to Recharges performed by a Customer after scanning the QR Code, these Terms and Conditions shall be read concomitantly with the terms and conditions of WhatsApp.
- Two or more rewards cannot be clubbed together. This entitlements under this Program cannot be used in conjunction with any other alternative offer or promotion of a similar nature.
- Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Company may, at its sole discretion, determine all criteria for making available any Reward under the Program including but not limited to withdrawing any Reward or category of Rewards, modifying existing Rewards or criteria during the validity of the Program, withdrawing, modifying or prescribing further conditions for the purposes of making available the Reward or making available Rewards to subscribers and/or users, otherwise than through the Program.
- RJIL reserves the right to cancel/withdraw this Program at any time, without any prior intimation to the Eligible Store Manager. However, the Rewards accrued to the Eligible Store Manager on or prior to the cancellation/withdrawal of this Program, shall not undergo any change.
- RJIL, may, at its discretion, modify any of the terms and/or conditions and/or any aspect of the Program, without any prior intimation to the Eligible Store Manager. The modifications so carried out will be posted on https://www.jio.com/en-in/terms-conditions.
- If any term/ condition under the Terms and Conditions of the Program is found to be invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, such terms and conditions shall be severed from the other terms and conditions and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining terms and conditions of the Program.
- In no event shall the Company and/or its directors, officers, employees, agents or other representatives thereof be responsible or liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or any other damages of any kind, arising out of or related to the Program.
- The Rewards are non-transferable, however the Eligible Store Manager is entitled to transfer the Rewards to the employees at his/her Store.
- The Program is subject to guidelines/directions issued by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), Department of Telecommunications (DOT) or any other statutory authority from time to time.
- The Eligible Store Manager’s personal information will be stored and processed in accordance with RJIL Privacy Policy available at https://www.jio.com/en-in/privacy-policy.

- All disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of India will apply and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, India.
- The Company shall not be responsible or liable for any inability on the part of an Eligible Store Manager to participate in the Program, including but not limited to fulfilling the Criteria for being invited to the Program, participation in the Program, availing any Reward under the Program, no access by Customer to WhatsApp, any difficulty in ascertaining or using redemption code/link associated with a Reward, or any difficulty or disability in connection with device, network service or any other amenity used by the Eligible Store Manager for any of the afore-stated purposes.
- The Eligible Store Manager agrees that he/she has read, understood and voluntarily agrees to the Terms and Conditions mentioned and stated herein.
- The Winner acknowledges and agrees that any Rewards in excess of Rs 10,000 (ten thousand) would be subject to prevalent TDS rules as prescribed by the tax authorities of India.

- “Eligible Subscriber” shall mean a person who (i) is above 18 (eighteen) years of age; (ii) is an active subscriber of the RJIL prepaid services; (iii) is a citizen of India not residing in the state of Tamil Nadu ; (iv) shall not be of an unsound mind; (v) shall not be under any legal disability e.g. insolvency, restraint by court orders etc. and / or is prohibited from entering any contractual relationship; (vi) shall not have been subject of any criminal proceeding; and (vii) has made a valid Recharge;
- “Jio Cricket Plans” shall mean any plans of the Company available at www.jio.com and subscribed by the Eligible Subscriber;
- “Recharge” shall mean a valid recharge done via the Campaign using the methods of payments supported by the Company channel on WhatsApp (a) for any prepaid plans of INR 299 (two hundred and ninety nine) and above or (b) for Jio Cricket Plans;
- “Rewards” shall mean any specified rewards made available by the Company at its sole discretion to Winners, and which may be based on loyalty criteria determined by the Company including the Recharge performed.
- “Terms and Conditions” means these terms and conditions governing the Program, as stated herein in entirety and as may be amended by the Company from time to time;
- “WhatsApp” means the application through which an Eligible Subscriber may makes a Recharge and the method of communication used by the Company;
- “Winner” shall have the meaning as ascribed to it under the Terms and Conditions.
VALIDITY
- The Program shall be valid from 8th April 2023 until 31st May 2023 or as decided by the Company at its sole discretion.
PARTICIPATION
- An Eligible Subscriber, who, during the subsistence of the Program, performs a successful and valid Recharge transaction via the Campaign, shall be entitled to participate in the Program and avail the Rewards. Every Eligible Subscriber shall be eligible to receive an assured 2GB data voucher as determined and intimated by the Company from time to time (“Benefit”).
PROCEDURE TO AVAIL BENEFITS
Rewards Eligibility
- The Eligible Subscriber may download, register and have access to WhatsApp.
- The mobile number for which the Recharge is made will be used to identify the Eligible Subscriber as a unique identification number.
- The Eligible Subscriber shall be subject to the terms and conditions and privacy policy of WhatsApp available at https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/privacy-policy/?lang=en.
- The Eligible Subscriber who successfully completes the Recharge via the Campaign, shall be eligible to participate in the Program and may be accorded a pass or invite to so participate.
- The Eligible Subscriber may choose to participate in the Program to be conducted in the manner as the Company may determine from time to time.
- To avail Rewards, an Eligible Subscriber must make a valid Recharge via the Campaign or any other method as determined and notified by the Company from time to time.

- “Jio Cricket Prepaid Plans” shall mean any plans of the Company available at www.jio.com and subscribed by the Customer;
- “QR Code” shall mean the barcode at the Store directing the Customer to WhatsApp;
- “Recharge” shall mean a valid recharge done after scanning the QR Code (a) of any prepaid plans of INR 299 (two hundred and ninety nine) and above or (b) opting for Jio Cricket Prepaid Plans;

- An Eligible Subscriber, who, during the subsistence of the Program, performs a successful and valid Recharge transaction via the Campaign, shall be entitled to participate in the Program.
PROCEDURE TO AVAIL BENEFITS
Benefits Eligibility
- The Eligible Subscriber may download, register and have access to WhatsApp.
- The mobile number for which the Recharge is made will be used to identify the Eligible Subscriber as a unique identification number.
- The Eligible Subscriber shall be subject to the terms and conditions and privacy policy of WhatsApp available at https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/privacy-policy/?lang=en.
- The Eligible Subscriber who successfully completes the Recharge via the Campaign, shall be eligible to participate in the Program.
- The Eligible Subscriber may choose to participate in the Program to be conducted in the manner as the Company may determine from time to time.
- To avail Benefits, an Eligible Subscriber must make a valid Recharge via the Campaign or any other method as determined and notified by the Company from time to time.
- Every Eligible Subscriber shall be eligible to receive an assured 2GB data voucher as determined and intimated by the Company from time to time (“Benefit”).
- The Company shall notify the Eligible Subscriber via a SMS.
- The Company may, in accordance with the laws prevailing in certain Indian states, from time to time, bar individuals residing in such states from availing the Benefits.
- The procedure for availing the Benefits under the Program is subject to the Terms and Conditions stated herein. Non-conformance by any Eligible Subscriber(s) to the Terms and Conditions will disqualify him/her from availing the Benefits, immediately, as the case may be.
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Benefits Eligibility
- Since the Benefits under this Program are offered as a loyalty program and pursuant to Recharges performed by an Eligible Subscriber via the Campaign, these Terms and Conditions shall be read concomitantly with the terms and conditions of the customer application form or ‘CAF’ executed by the Eligible Subscriber to avail the telecommunication services of RJIL.
- Two or more benefits cannot be clubbed together. This entitlements under this Program cannot be used in conjunction with any other alternative offer or promotion of a similar nature.
- Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Company may, at its sole discretion, determine all criteria for making available any Benefits under the Program including but not limited to withdrawing any Benefits or category of Benefits, modifying existing Benefits or criteria during the validity of the Program, withdrawing, modifying or prescribing further conditions for the purposes of making available the Benefits or making available Benefits to subscribers and/or users, otherwise than through the Program.
- RJIL reserves the right to cancel/withdraw this Program at any time, without any prior intimation to the Eligible Subscriber. However, the Benefits accrued to the Eligible Subscriber on or prior to the cancellation/withdrawal of this Program, shall not undergo any change.
- RJIL, may, at its discretion, modify any of the terms and/or conditions and/or any aspect of the Program, without any prior intimation to the Eligible Subscriber. The modifications so carried out will be posted on https://www.jio.com/en-in/terms-conditions.
- If any term/ condition under the Terms and Conditions of the Program is found to be invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, such terms and conditions shall be severed from the other terms and conditions and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining terms and conditions of the Program.
- In no event shall the Company and/or its directors, officers, employees, agents or other representatives thereof be responsible or liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or any other damages of any kind, arising out of or related to the Program.
- The Benefits are non-transferable.
- The Program is subject to guidelines/directions issued by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), Department of Telecommunications (DOT) or any other statutory authority from time to time.
- The Eligible Subscriber’s personal information will be stored and processed in accordance with RJIL Privacy Policy available at https://www.jio.com/en-in/privacy-policy.

- All disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of India will apply and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, India.
- The Company shall not be responsible or liable for any inability on the part of an Eligible Subscriber to participate in the Program, including but not limited to performing Recharges for the purposes of being invited to the Program, participation in the Program, availing any Benefit under the Program, access to WhatsApp, any difficulty in ascertaining or using redemption code/link associated with a Benefit, or any difficulty or disability in connection with device, network service or any other amenity used by the Eligible Subscriber for any of the afore-stated purposes.
- The Eligible Subscriber agrees that he/she has read, understood and voluntarily agrees to the Terms and Conditions mentioned and stated herein.
- The Winner acknowledges and agrees that any Benefit in excess of Rs 10,000 (ten thousand) would be subject to prevalent TDS rules as prescribed by the tax authorities of India.
