What is DND?

DND (Do Not Disturb) is an initiative by TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) to save telecom consumers from unsolicited calls/SMS. If a Jio user registers their mobile number, then it would be illegal for telemarketers to send any sort of unsolicited SMS or calls on those numbers.
You can register your DND preferences in any of the following ways:

Open MyJio App, tap on Settings and set your DND preference OR
Login to your account by clicking www.jio.com/myaccount, click on settings and set your DND Preference OR
Send SMS START 0 to 1909 OR
Dial 1909

Upon registering your DND preference, you will get a confirmation SMS with a unique registration number and your DND preference will be updated in 24 hours. Once a preference is set, it can be modified after 24 hours.
