I am unable to receive SMS on my Jio number from a specific number. What do I do?
  • If you are unable to receive SMS from a specific number, but are able to receive from other numbers, then it indicates that your phone settings and Jio services are working fine, and there may be an issue with that specific number/operator. You can ask the sender to check with his / her network operator.
  • If you are not receiving OTP message from a specific bank/app, but are receiving messages from all other numbers, then it indicates your phone settings and Jio services are working fine, and this may be due to some issue with that specific bank/app. You can check with the concerned institution on this further.
  • In case of SIM change, your incoming and outgoing SMS service will remain barred for 24 hours as per Regulatory guidelines.
