Does smartwatch need to be in proximity with primary smartphone device for using cellular services?
Once smartwatch is paired and connected to a cellular network, it can be used independently as an extension of the primary phone device to use cellular services with same-terms and conditions as available for primary phone device. There is no need for proximity between primary device and smartwatch. However, for connection via Bluetooth, proximity is required. When in proximity, smartwatch will continue to be connected via Bluetooth to your smartphone.
