How is JioShield different from other parental control solutions?
JioShield brings child safety and digital parenting features together in one connected solution. Parents can manage screen time, apps and contacts, track live location and receive safety alerts. It also includes features such as low-battery alerts to help parents stay informed about their child's device.
Which phones does JioShield solution work on?
Child's phone: JioShield is compatible with Android smartphones running Android 10 or above and requires an active Jio mobile number.
Parent's phone: JioThings is currently available on Android devices. Parents need to log in using the Jio number associated with their JioShield subscription.
JioThings will be available on iOS from 1 October 2026
Do me and my child need to have Jio SIM to enroll into JioShield?
Yes, both you and your child must register with Jio number to enroll to JioShield.
