Jio caller tune: how to set, change, and deactivate your JioTune

A Jio caller tune, officially called JioTunes, lets you play a song or audio clip for people calling your Jio number instead of the standard ringing tone. You can set, change, or deactivate your JioTune through the MyJio app, JioSaavn, or by dialling 56789. This guide explains how JioTunes works, how to activate it, and how to manage your current tune.

A Jio caller tune, also known as JioTunes, is an audio clip that plays for callers while your phone is ringing. It replaces the standard ringing tone with a song or audio clip available in the JioTunes catalogue.

The tune plays only for the person calling you. You do not hear it when you make a call. Once you answer the call, the tune stops automatically.

The MyJio app is the easiest way to activate a Jio caller tune.

1. Open the MyJio app on your phone.
2. Tap JioTunes under Quick Links.
3. Search for a song or browse the available catalogue.
4. Preview the song if you want to hear it first.
5. Tap Set JioTune.
6. Confirm the activation request.

You will receive a confirmation message once your JioTune is activated.

If you do not want to use an app, you can activate a JioTune directly from your Jio number.

1. Dial 56789 from your Jio SIM.
2. Follow the IVR instructions.
3. Select a song from the available options.
4. Confirm your selection.

You will receive a confirmation message after activation.

You can also activate JioTunes through the JioSaavn app.

1. Open the JioSaavn app.
2. Tap JioTunes.
3. Search for a song.

You can change your JioTune whenever you want.

3. Browse or search for a new song.
4. Tap Set JioTune.

Your new JioTune replaces the existing tune.

4. Tap Deactivate.

You can also:

• Send STOP to 155223.
• Dial 155223 and follow the IVR instructions.

After deactivation, callers will hear the standard ringing tone again.
