You can activate call forwarding directly from your handset by going to Settings > Call > Advance settings > Call forwarding. Please note that the navigation might differ on different handsets.

As per the new guidelines issued by the Govt. of India, activation and deactivation of Call forwarding using USSD based option i.e. *401 will not be allowed going forward. However, you can still enable this feature directly from your handset.
