What if I have lost or damaged my Jio SIM? What should I do?
In case you have lost or damaged your SIM card, depending on your case, you can follow these steps.
Get the broken SIM card replaced:
1. Visit the nearest Jio Store along with your Aadhaar card or any other valid Proof of Identity (POI).
2. A charge of ₹50 will be applicable at the time of SIM replacement.
3. Make sure your Jio number has an active recharge plan during the replacement process.
4. Once your SIM is changed, SMS services will remain unavailable for 24 hours as a security measure.
Suspend your lost SIM card:
1. visit the SIM Lost Login page to suspend or resume services on your Jio number.
2. This helps protect your number from misuse until you get your SIM replaced.
3. After suspending the SIM, you can visit a Jio Store to get a new SIM issued.
