OTT apps FAQ
What’s the process to retrieve my Amazon Prime login ID for the Jio Set Top Box?
If you’re unsure which Amazon account is linked to your Jio Set Top Box (STB), try these steps:
-
First, check the obvious:
- Log in to the MyJio app and click on 'Fiber'.
- Tap 'Switch account' and choose the desired account.
- Scroll down to 'My Subscriptions' and click on 'Manage'.
- Go to 'Amazon Prime Lite' and tap on it.
- Scroll down to 'Recover Username' and select it.
-
If you still can’t identify it:
- Call Jio Customer Care: 1800-896-9999 (toll-free).
- Email: jiofibercare@jio.com. Mention your JioFiber Service ID, Registered Mobile Number (RMN), and that you need help identifying the Amazon Prime login ID linked to your STB.
If you know the ID but forgot the password:
Use ‘Forgot Password’ on primevideo.com or amazon.in and reset via the registered email/phone.
Tip: Prime on STB must be signed in with the same Amazon account that was used during activation via your RMN/MyJio. If you sign in with a different Amazon account, the benefits from your Jio plan may not reflect.
-
Have these ready when you contact support:
- JioFiber Service ID and RMN
- STB serial/MAC (found on the STB label or in Settings → About)
- A brief note on when Prime was first activated on your connection
Privacy note: For security, support can help verify the linked ID but won’t share full credentials. Passwords are never disclosed; only reset links can be sent to the registered email/phone.
