JioFiber Internet FAQ
How can I connect my Smart TV to the Jio Home Gateway on my JioFiber network?
You can connect your Smart TV to your JioFiber network using either a LAN cable or Wi-Fi. Both options work well, and you can choose based on where your TV is placed and how strong your Wi-Fi signal is.
Option 1: Connect using a LAN cable (recommended for best stability)
- Plug one end of the Ethernet (LAN) cable into the LAN port of your Jio Home Gateway (router).
- Plug the other end into your Smart TV’s LAN port.
- Your TV should automatically detect the wired connection and connect to the internet.
Option 2: Connect using Wi-Fi
- On your Smart TV, go to Settings → Network/Wi-Fi Settings.
- Select your Wi-Fi Name (SSID) from the list of available networks.
- Enter your Wi-Fi password to connect.
- If your TV shows an option for Automatically Connect, enable it so your TV reconnects to JioFiber automatically every time.
For the best Wi-Fi experience, ensure your TV is placed within good range of the router, avoid physical obstructions, and keep other large appliances away from the Wi-Fi path.
Once connected, you’ll be able to stream OTT apps, watch live TV, play games, and enjoy smooth video playback through your JioFiber network.
If your TV is not connecting or the internet seems slow, you can use the Run Diagnostics feature in the MyJio app to check signal strength and troubleshoot issues.
