This is helpful if you want to switch to a higher Netflix subscription plan in India, such as moving from Basic to Standard or to a Netflix Premium account for 4K viewing, especially if you watch on TV using a Netflix plan for TV or a Netflix subscription for TV.
You can upgrade you Netflix plan with JioHome in two ways:
During activation
1. Activate your Netflix subscription through MyJio or Jio.com.
2. Choose the plan you prefer.
After activation
1. Sign in to Netflix.com.
2. Go to Account → Change Plan.
3. Select your new plan — the change is effective immediately.
Payment process
1. You’ll receive an SMS with a payment link to pay only the difference.
2. Complete the payment and enjoy the upgraded plan.
3. If payment is not made in time, you’ll revert to the plan included with your JioHome broadband.

For Amazon Prime Video or Netflix, you need to sign in manually using your personal Amazon ID or Netflix ID because these premium apps require individual account authentication.
