Yes, you can upgrade your Netflix membership plan by paying only the differential amount to Jio, without upgrading your entire JioHome broadband plan. This is helpful if you want to switch to a higher Netflix subscription plan in India, such as moving from Basic to Standard or to a Netflix Premium account for 4K viewing, especially if you watch on TV using a Netflix plan for TV or a Netflix subscription for TV.
You can upgrade you Netflix plan with JioHome in two ways:
During activation
1. Activate your Netflix subscription through MyJio or Jio.com.
2. Choose the plan you prefer.
After activation
1. Sign in to Netflix.com.
2. Go to Account → Change Plan.
3. Select your new plan — the change is effective immediately.
Payment process
1. You’ll receive an SMS with a payment link to pay only the difference.
2. Complete the payment and enjoy the upgraded plan.
3. If payment is not made in time, you’ll revert to the plan included with your JioHome broadband.

Yes, you can. If you are on a JioHome plan with bundled OTT subscriptions, for example ₹999 and above, which include OTT subscription plans with Netflix, you will be logged in automatically through Jio’s auto-login system for most of the bundled apps. This applies to all OTT apps except Amazon and Netflix.
For Amazon Prime Video or Netflix, you need to sign in manually using your personal Amazon ID or Netflix ID because these premium apps require individual account authentication.
If you are using a lower JioHome plan such as ₹699 or ₹399, which do not include Netflix in broadband plans, you can still access OTT content by logging in with your own credentials.
With JioHome, you can get up to 15 popular OTT apps like JioCinema Premium, SonyLIV, Zee5, SunNxt, JioHotstar, and more.
Most apps provided with your JioHome plan can be used immediately upon activation. Some apps may need a one-time registration. Please note, that for Netflix and Amazon Prime apps, you have to register or log in using your existing credentials.
