What are the documents and processes required to get the Credit Limit facility?
All you need is a recent postpaid bill from your existing operator (the bills should not be older than 2 months).
Below are the steps to avail of this offer:
  • Share a copy of your recent postpaid bill on WhatsApp no 88501-88501 from the number you intend to port (please ensure the same number is mentioned on your postpaid bill).
  • You can upload a PDF copy of the bill or an image of the bill.
  • Ensure that uploaded copy is legible and has details like your name, phone number, credit limit, billing details, etc
  • Once uploaded, our team would validate your document.
  • If all the details match, you would get a success message on SMS/email.
  • Your pre-approved credit limit would be pre-configured and set in the Jio system against your existing number
  • You can walk into any Jio store to get a Jio postpaid connection or port your existing number to Jio. Kindly carry your KYC document (preferably your Aadhar Card)
  • You do not have to pay any fee or security deposit while switching to Jio
