OTT apps FAQ

What are my login credentials for using OTT app subscriptions on other devices?

Your OTT login details depend on the type of app included in your JioFiber or JioAirFiber plan. Jio activates your subscriptions, but you sign in to each OTT app using the credentials linked to your account.

Here’s how to log in to OTT apps on smart TVs, mobiles, laptops, and tablets:

For Amazon Prime and Netflix:
  1. You must sign in using the same email ID or mobile number you used while activating the subscription on Jio.com or the MyJio app.
  2. This ensures:
    • Your Jio-linked subscription is recognised
    • You can watch on multiple devices
    • Your viewing history and profiles stay synced
  3. If you forget the login ID, you can check it inside MyJio → Fiber → Subscriptions.

For JioHotstar, Sony LIV, ZEE5, Sun NXT, and other partner OTT apps:
  1. You can log in using your Jio-registered mobile number.
  2. Simply enter your mobile number and validate it with the OTP to access your subscription.
  3. This makes it easy to:
    • Use OTT apps across devices
    • Avoid remembering multiple passwords
    • Activate subscriptions instantly

Supported apps include:
  • JioHotstar
  • Sony LIV
  • ZEE5
  • Sun NXT
  • Hoichoi
  • ETV Win
  • TarangPlus
  • ShemarooMe
  • …and other apps included in your JioFiber OTT bundle.

Tips for a smooth login experience
  • Use the same Jio mobile number that is registered with your JioFiber or JioAirFiber account.
  • Ensure you are on the latest version of each OTT app.
  • If you changed your mobile number recently, update it in MyJio → Settings.
  • If a login fails or an app shows 'subscription not active', you can refresh your OTT entitlements via MyJio → Fiber → Subscriptions → Refresh or contact JioCare.
