I already have a personal Netflix subscription with a higher plan than the one included with my JioHome plan. How can I continue using it?
If you already have an active personal Netflix subscription (such as Premium) that is higher than the Netflix plan included with your JioHome plan, you can continue using your existing subscription without losing any benefits.
When you open the Netflix app on your Jio Set Top Box for the first time, you will see a message:
“Great News! You now have Netflix with Jio.”
Select “Get Started” and sign in using your existing Netflix email ID and password.
After successful login, Netflix will automatically check your account. If it detects that your current Netflix plan is higher than the plan included with JioHome, you will be guided with the following options:
- Continue with your existing higher Netflix plan:
Select “Yes, Start Watching.” You will continue to enjoy all features of your current Netflix plan. Any additional charges will be added to your Jio bill, and your existing payment method (credit or debit card) will no longer be charged. - Change your Netflix plan:
Select “Plan Options” and choose the Netflix plan you prefer and your earlier payment method (credit/debit card) will stop being charged.
