Installation FAQ

To get a JioFiber connection, you need to keep your original KYC documents ready at the time of installation.

Our team will verify these documents during the activation visit as per the guidelines set by the Department of Telecom (DoT), India.

You can use any of the following as your Proof of Identity (POI) and Proof of Address (POA):

• Aadhaar Card
• Any other valid government-approved ID that serves as both POI and POA (such as Voter ID, Passport, or Driving Licence)

Once your documents are verified on the spot, your JioFiber order will be processed immediately, and installation will be completed shortly after.

Keeping the original documents ready helps speed up your activation and ensures a smooth onboarding experience.

If you’ve applied online, make sure your contact number is reachable so the Jio team can coordinate the installation visit.
