Cloud Platforms
Cloud Platforms

Cloud Platforms enable versatile operations, efficiency, and help close the automation gap. These solutions can help in the deployment of new services faster and orchestrate the operational tasks between systems. Jio Platforms focuses on innovation and adopts tried-and-tested practices, including open solutions that interoperate well with third-party systems. The solutions conform to various standards from the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) and 3GPP. The solution can be deployed right from the edge, core, as well as it can support the public cloud market.
Management and Orchestration Platform (MANO)
MANO Platform simplifies operations by replacing a traditional, high-touch management model with a next-generation, programmable, and virtualised model which works on the concepts of zero-touch operations. JPL’s converged and cloud-native MANO platform supports not only virtualised but also containerised workloads at the data centre as well as the network EDGE sites concurrently, without the need to fall back on open-source solutions such as Kubernetes. It enables the provisioning of fast, on-demand services over hybrid networks - making sure traditional networks are ‘NFV Ready’. The platform delivers cost reductions, service agility, and faster time-to-market through NFV & SDN for traditional telco-grade networks. This allows operators to seamlessly discover, programme, and automate infrastructure across both traditional and virtual networks.

Automated Cloud Installer (ACI)
ACI platform ensures end-to-end automation in the modern 5G carrier network leading to a significant reduction in the time taken for installation and commissioning of 5G network functions. It helps production-grade environments in a way that makes them simple to operate, upgrade and scale. JPL’s ACI makes it easy to provision instances, networks, and production-ready cloud infrastructure. The solution provides the flexibility to plan the deployment in several geographic locations with a single click from its interactive user interface.

SDN Orchestrator (SDNO)
SDN Orchestrator enables zero-touch service provisioning, whereby a customer can order services via a web portal through which it gets automatically configured and delivered without requiring any human intervention. It seamlessly integrates with domain controllers for managing the IP/MPLS, Transport and Edge Networks. Since the IP and Transport networks are evolving, the platform provides an approach to manage such networks with agility, automation, ease of use, minimal human intervention and reduced error rates. JPL’s SDN Orchestrator manages the services and sub-services in a transparent manner to the northbound OSS. Service API abstractions reduce the complexity of the OSS fulfilment flows and enable zero touch self-care.

Network Slicing Platform
Network Slicing Platform is a standards based, vendor-agnostic intelligent automation solution that enables zero-touch slice lifecycle automation, which includes planning, instantiation, and operations of end-to-end (E2E) network slices across the RAN, Transport, and Core domains. The Platform in the 5G SA architecture is one of the key tenets for enabling deployment of multiple logical, self-contained and independent, shared or partitioned networks concurrently on a common infrastructure platform. It provides ease to an enterprise and service operator to easily subscribe and create a service slice while ensuring that underlying 5G Core Network Functions are using the same physical hardware. The platform ensures segregated logical deployment as per service level requirements of a customer. So, whether an enterprise is looking for smart classroom service or Enterprise VPN service or plethora of other use cases, JPL’s Network Slicing Platform will assist in creation of a slice for the same and integrate it with the existing network.
